Renewing Our Sense of Calling: Cultivating Inner Strength in Ourselves and Our Children
This presentation by Ms. Linda Lantieri, MA discusses how we can nurture our own sense of purpose and vision and create opportunities for reflection and personal renewal for ourselves and others in our life and work. We will explore how we as adults can cultivate the habits of mind, body, and heart it will take to continually relieve the pressure that we all face. Continuing Professional Development Units ( CPDUs) available for teachers.
Ms. Lantieri has been in the field of education for almost 50 years in a variety of capacities: classroom teacher, assistant principal, director of a middle school in East Harlem, and faculty member at Hunter College and presently at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a Fulbright Scholar and internationally known speaker in the areas of Social and Emotional Learning, Contemplative Teaching and Learning and Spirituality in k-12 Education.
