H. David Smith, Ph.D. will share stories of transformation based upon his personal experiences of engaging with incarcerated students. Smith teaches college-level courses at Stateville Correctional Center, a maximum security prison in Crest Hill, just outside of Joliet. This event is co-sponsored by RAIN (Racial Awareness in the North Shore) and the Northbrook Public Library.
