Every Dreaming Creature: An Afternoon with Brendan Wenzel
Join us at The Book Stall on Tuesday, October 3 at 4:00 pm for an after-school discussion with award-winning author and illustrator, Brendan Wenzel, in partnership with Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District! He will be sharing his new picture book, Every Dreaming Creature, a visually stunning exploration of animal senses through dreams. In a starred review, Publishers Weekly says, “In experiential text and form-forward mixed-media art, Caldecott Honoree Wenzel imagines a young dreamer inhabiting the body and consciousness of a succession of animals….It’s one thing to watch creatures; in this empathetic picture book, Wenzel imagines what it’s like to be them.” This book is perfect for kids ages 4 to 8.
