Abdoulaye Conde at Evanston Art Center
The Evanston Art Center (EAC) is excited to welcome the public to our upcoming exhibition, Abdoulaye Conde. The exhibition will be on display from August 16 – September 21, 2025, and will be free and open to the public.
Abdoulaye Conde is a self-taught visual artist and muralist from Conakry, Guinea, now based on the North Side of Chicago. Conde is known for his vibrant and culturally rich artwork, which blends traditional and contemporary influences and is inspired by his Malinke heritage and experiences across cultures. He is also a skilled multi-instrumentalist, most notably playing the kora. Through his art and music, Abdoulaye Conde celebrates resilience, hope, joy, and unity, while reimagining contrasts, finding beauty in their connections.
