Caroline Fleck, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, author, and corporate consultant. A world-renowned expert on the topic of validation, her 2025 book Validation: How the Skill Set That Revolutionized Psychology Will Transform Your Relationships, Increase Your Influence, and Change Your Life has been translated in nine different languages.
Fleck received a B.A. in psychology and English from the University of Michigan, followed by an M.A. and Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. She has served as a supervisor and consultant for some of the most rigorous training programs in the country, including Marsha Linehan, Ph.D.’s Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinics at the University of Washington, the Department of Psychiatry at Stanford Medical Center, and the VA Palo Alto.
