The Evanston Art Center (EAC), a non-profit arts organization, is delighted to announce its highly anticipated event, Portfolio Day, set to take place on September 16, 2023 at 12:00 pm at 1717 Central Street. Along with The Portfolio Day, Art Documentation Workshop will be taking place on July 15 and October 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Documentation Open Studio will be on July 22, October 21, and November 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
The Portfolio Events serves as a crucial stepping stone for students pursuing their passion for the arts. It offers a unique platform for them to present their creative accomplishments to admissions teams from leading art schools and universities. This event provides an ideal setting for students to receive feedback, guidance, and potential acceptance into renowned art programs, nurturing the next generation of talented and innovative artists.
Art Documentation Workshop and Documentation Open Studio which are held with EAC Portfolio Day will aim to equip artists with essential skills and resources for effectively documenting their artwork. Art Documentation Workshop will help to learn how to properly photograph your artwork and Documentation Open Studio provides the space and equipment to properly photograph your artwork.
Events are free to attend. Registration for Documentation Workshop and Documentation Open Studio will be open on June 19, 2023, and registration for Portfolio Day will be open on July 10, 2023.
