The Book Stall is delighted to host award-winning children’s author Suzanne Slade for a special all-family STEM program about the ocean and space on Saturday, December 7th at 10:30 AM. Ms. Slade will be sharing two new nonfiction books. The Ocean Blue and You takes young readers on an exploration of our oceans and the many creatures found there. Middle grade readers will enjoy Unlocking the Universe: The Cosmic Discoveries of the Webb Space Telescope. This stunning STEM title focuses on the world’s most powerful telescope and introduces future scientists and engineers to space and the universe beyond. The first Webb images captivated the world. This program is aimed at grades K – 5.
