Mary Simon

Mary Simon is the director of career advising and education in the Career Management Center at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. She is responsible for managing a team of nine career coaches to prepare and support over 1,300 full-time MBA students pursuing a variety of business pathways. Her role spans from one-on-one coaching with individual students to planning educational workshops and events to setting the coaching strategy for the student-facing activities that the Career Management Center offers. She has been with Kellogg for eleven years and in her current role for the last eight years.

Prior to Kellogg, Ms. Simon was with a Chicago-based boutique retained executive search and consulting firm with a select clientele of Fortune 100 corporations, wealthy business owners, and private equity firms. She was responsible for all aspects of senior level executive searches from developing research strategy to job offer negotiations for consumer oriented clients. She successfully worked with and coached executives from a variety of functional backgrounds across many industry sectors including consumer packaged goods, financial services, retail services, and manufacturing.
