Teaching Children About Love
https://womencarecounseling.com/event/teaching-children-about-love/
We all want to love our children well. Many think the capacity to love is intuitive but it is not. Love is more than a feeling it is a commitment. Love relies on a combination of affection, care, protection, accountability, kindness, responsibility, and respect.
We all carry stories about love from our childhoods that are both enhancing and challenging. These stories guide us and can also derail us.
In this workshop Laurie Kahn, LCPC, MA, MFA, author of Baffled by Love, will explore how we teach children about love. She will offer a road map to further understand this wondrous and complicated thing we call love. This workshop is for personal growth, is open to all, and does not earn professional CEUs.
Fee: $65, includes light refreshments. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
