As a high school special education teacher for 19 years, Lisa Berghoff has worked with many students and their families to create unique learning experiences and ensure that they are an authentic part of the school community. She has seen firsthand the possibilities that come with utilizing technology in classrooms to help students learn in ways that were previously unimagined. Now, she is in her 6th year as the Director of Instructional Technology at Highland Park High School and is thrilled to be able to share what she has learned about effectively utilizing technology in the classroom and beyond. She is also a Google Certified Innovator, Trainer, Mentor, Coach and a presenter who provides professional development for teachers nationwide. Lisa is the recipient of the 2019 ISTE Making It Happen Award and is known for her engaging, informative, interactive sessions.
