Moms’ Night Out (or In): A Virtual Lit Program with Emma Straub, J. Courtney Sullivan, and Jessica Grose!
On Thursday, May 6th at 6:30 PM, The Book Stall is delighted to welcome novelist (and indie bookstore owner) Emma Straub to our Crowdcast virtual stage as we celebrate the paperback release of her new novel All Adults Here. Also on the bill: J. Courtney Sullivan, celebrating the paperback release of her novel Friends and Strangers. New York Times parenting columnist Jessica Grose will join in the fun! Leading up to the event, we’ll be sending you beverage recipes (booze free and not) so you can have something great to sip on during the conversation, and all attendees will be eligible for excellent door prizes. Give yourself a (virtual) break! This event is free, and aimed at moms with kids ages 0 – 60. No worries about having to drive home–you’ll already be there.
**The Book Stall is pleased to donate 20% of the proceeds from the evening to the Infant Welfare Society of Evanston, which provides care and education for infants and young children and supports families’ efforts to be effective parents and advocates in their child’s learning and development.
