Free Jamming Jean Concert with South Boulevard Band
South Boulevard Band (SBB) is back for an indoor Jamming Jean concert on March 10 at 5:00pm in the Maple Room at the Levy Senior Center. SBB has established itself as one of Chicago’s best “feel good” bands. Those who saw them in 2019 at the Levy Center will remember how the band’s energetic tunes moved audience members of all ages from their seats to the dance floor. The lively 7-piece horn band has entertained thousands with their eclectic mix of rockin’ soul and old-school R&B sounds.
Hecky’s Barbecue will provide delicious fare for purchase. Grab dinner from this Evanston institution, and enjoy while you tap to the tunes. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and water will also be available for purchase.
This family friendly event is made possible by the Levy Senior Center Foundation, the City of Evanston, and Symphony of Evanston, a provider of post-acute and long-term care. The Jamming Jean Music Series, named in honor of a former Levy Center member, features music and musicians that reflect Evanston and its cultural diversity.
