The Evanston Art Center (EAC) is excited to welcome the public to our upcoming exhibition, CSI | Materiality in Sculpture: A Dialogue Between Substance and Form.
Juried by Debra Favre, CSI | Materiality in Sculpture: A Dialogue Between Substance and Form explores the interplay of materials in the realm of sculpture, showcasing works that challenge, celebrate, and redefine our understanding of material substance through freestanding and wall-hung sculptures as well as installation and video. Forty members of Chicago Sculpture International have been selected for this exhibition.
CSI | Materiality in Sculpture: A Dialogue Between Substance and Form will be exhibited in the First Floor Gallery of the Art Center. The opening reception is free and open to the public. This exhibition is partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and the EAC’s general membership.
