NewsNation journalist Leland Vittert’s memoir, Born Lucky, details his experiences growing up with autism and the social hurdles he encountered. The book highlights his father’s commitment as a “parent-coach” who taught him essential social skills. Vittert describes the book as a tribute to his father and a narrative of overcoming challenges and societal labels.
