Bring yourselves and your children to this interactive zoom session to meet artist and writer, Katie Claywell, and Brody, the penguin. Katie will read from her new book, Brody’s 14-Day Activity Guide, lead participants at home through an interactive art activity, and share ways families can continue to create quality, creative time together. Prior to the session, we’ll send an update to all participants, so that you can bring supplies you have at home to participate in the art experience. Register Here
Presenter: Katie Kopcha Claywell, LPC, is a children’s book author and illustrator from central Connecticut. She loves to create charming and whimsical illustrations for young hearts around the world. With a background as an art therapist and licensed professional counselor, Katie helps children, teens and families develop their own cognitive & problem-solving skills, self-esteem, and self-expression. Her upcoming book series will be promoting quality time, creativity, and screen-free activities for groups and families. Katie resides with her husband, two daughters and wire-haired dachshund, Dyson, who often inspire her illustrations and stories.
