A panel of Chicago experts will address violence in the city and provide opportunities for North Shore residents to take part in solutions. Panelists include Susan Lee, Chicago’s Deputy Mayor of Public Safety; Darrell Spencer, 11th District Commander, Chicago Police Department; Roseanna Ander, Executive Director University of Chicago Crime and Education Lab; Yolanda Field, Chief Program Officer at Breakthrough, a non-profit based in East Garfield Park and one of her program participants. The evening will be moderated by Paul M. Rand, a North Shore resident and University of Chicago VP Communications.
