An Introduction to Youth Mental Health for Families
Youth mental health is a priority for both families and schools. As Illinois schools prepare to implement Universal Mental Health Screening for students in grades 3–12 by the 2027–2028 school year, families may have questions about the role schools play in youth mental health and the potential role of screening.
Join experts from the Center for Childhood Resilience at Lurie Children’s Hospital for a webinar, “Introduction to Youth Mental Health.” During this webinar, families will learn how to distinguish between typical developmental responses and mental health challenges and how to recognize early signs that additional support may be needed.
