Libya, Syria, Iraq, Sudan… just some of the world’s hot spots where longtime United Nations professional Jake Morland has responded to major crises over the last 25 years. Join us in the Sanctuary Saturday, January 31 at 2 p.m., to hear Jake’s stories and insights, including those of his deployment to Gaza one month after Hamas attacked Israel in 2023.
As a Humanitarian Officer for the U.N., Jake has coordinated international humanitarian responses to a range of crises including natural disasters like earthquakes and floods, as well armed conflicts. His work has been part of the United Nation’s Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
