Poems While You Wait! Poets and Their Vintage Typewriters at The Book Stall!
Kathleen Rooney and Eric Plattner, two of the founders of Poems While You Wait, join us at The Book Stall on Sat. July 20th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM to craft custom-made poems on vintage typewriters. Give the poets a topic, give them a $10 donation (all of which goes to the non-profit book publisher Rose Metal Press), and enjoy browsing the bookstore. Upon your return you will have a one-of-a-kind original poem to keep for yourself or to give as a gift!
Poems While You Wait is a collective of poets and their vintage typewriters who provide an unexpected and unpretentious encounter with poetry.
