Saturday Storytime with Children’s Author Jacob Grant and his New Picture Book, “Umami!”
The Book Stall is excited to host a special story time featuring children’s author and illustrator Jacob Grant, on Saturday, November 23rd at 10:30 AM. We are celebrating the release of his new picture book, Umami! From the author and illustrator of No Pants! and No Fair! comes a story about Umami, a penguin who is tired of a diet limited to only cold fish. To find new exciting foods, she adventures across the sea and discovers flavors and spices that are inspiring! She has to share them. Kirkus Reviews calls Umami “An epicurean tale of bravery and tasty discoveries.” This event is free and open to the public.
