Dusti Bowling
Meet Children’s Book Author Dusti Bowling
On Saturday, May 7th, from 2 to 4 PM, The Book Stall presents an open house with children’s book author Dusti Bowling. She’ll be greeting fans and signing copies of her acclaimed Aven Green series for young readers. Book two in the series, Aven Green Baking Machine, has just been released. We recommend this first chapter book series for grades 1 – 3.
More About the Book: In Aven Green, Baking Machine, Aven is ready to shake things up by entering the exciting world of competitive baking with her friends Kayla, Sujata, and Emily. Aven knows she’s an expert baker. So what if she doesn’t have arms? That’s just the way she was born. And honestly, she’s a whiz at mixing and measuring with her feet. The one skill Aven hasn’t mastered in the kitchen: working together with her friends. Before long they are fighting over whose dessert is the best. Will adding friends to the mix turn into a recipe for disaster for Aven?
More About the Author: Dusti Bowling grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, where, as her family will tell you, she always had her nose in a book. Dusti holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Education, but eventually realized her true passion was writing. She lives in Arizona, with her family.
